Perfumer’s Notebook

Jasmine and orchid are two of the most graceful flowers in Taiwan’s fragrance culture.
Their scents are not only found in blooming branches, but are also woven into everyday life, becoming a unique sensory memory shared by many.

When imagining a floral fragrance that speaks for Taiwan’s scent culture and the Hsuan Ri Fen brand, I kept returning to one question: how could a floral perfume feel quietly luxurious, rather than simply light or fleeting?
The answer lay in flowers that carry warmth and depth—floral notes that feel lived-in and familiar, not decorative. Through this approach, the fragrance becomes a subtle yet confident expression of Taiwan’s floral scent culture.

Rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang have always been central to European floral scents.
For us in the East, the goal is different: a floral romance that feels delicate and understated, not overly strong.

Through careful formulation and reflections on my past experience with fabrics, I drew inspiration from silk and velvet satin to shape the fragrance’s visual and sensory imagery.
Jasmine and orchid emerged as the central floral notes, giving the perfume its distinct character.

Like the airy romance of silk and the rich sensuality of velvet, they form a harmonious combination for daily fragrance wear.

then at night, it evolves into the sophisticated elegance of a luxurious evening gown.

How to Use

Spray about 20 cm from the skin. If you are wearing jewelry, cover it before spraying to avoid any damage.
